About Joe
Joe is a director on the board of the California Council of the Blind, a hobbyist DJ, an amateur radio student, and a lifelong technology enthusiast. Everything under JDG Productions comes from first-hand experience: the tools he builds with, the gear on his desk, the apps that pass — and fail — his screen reader tests. If it is on this site, he has tried it himself.

- Building with AI — making software, voices, and tools with AI, and reporting what really happened.
- The Test Bench — hands-on tests of apps, recorders, microphones, and gear, including product samples.
- Accessible Arts & Community — accessible theatre, community events, and the people making them happen.
- The Scrapyard — the projects that didn't work out, and what they taught him. No hype, no pretending.
